This poster has no force if the aim of your blog is first and formost for your own development and benefit. Right? If you write to work out ideas and just happen to post those ideas to a blog then so many of the common objections with blogging on both the creation and the consumption side of the equation simply fade from view. The trouble is that most people don't blog primarily for their own personal development/benefit. If that was not enough, Blogging is still in an ameba like form. It's changing rapidly. Is Pintrest a blog? Instagram? Tumblr? Path? Google+? Quora? You Tube? Foursquare? Or Twitter for that matter? They have all come so so far since Blogger and it was not even the first "blog" per se.
